Hours of resilience

 

 You still appear to be calm. Inside of you is flooded with emotions of all extremes. You tell yourself when things get tough, the tough gets going. You try to make your mind strong, your body strong and hold on to it. You feel better. Slowly, it slips back to square one. You are again flooded with emotions of all kinds. Now you remember a poet, a philosopher and tell yourself ‘this too shall pass’. Yeah, this moment, the moment of strength that these words gave you also passes.

You keep going like this. You have managed to hold on. You still keep holding on. There is a bit of hope here and there. You hang on. Resilience.
